Darius Lux is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and performer who grew up between London and New York. Having inked a deal early on in his development with Notation/Warner Chappell in Manhattan he honed his skills writing songs recorded by Willa Ford, Hall & Oates and Jennifer Lopez.
In 2005, a thirst for adventure urged Darius to leave NYC on a quest around the world for a year.
As he travelled, Darius found a host of songs and new rhythms come to him as he drifted along beaches, dirt roads and mountain tops through four continents.
The result of this journey around the world and back to the spirit of music is 'Arise' - a collection of songs that combine his love of 60's song-writing, 70's soul, 80's pop and 90's hip-hop into a current, vital and new mix of soulful rock-edged pop tunes.
Darius is currently based in Los Angeles, where he is finishing up his album and playing locally with Miklos Malek (keys/bass) and Keith Williams, Jr (drums) as 'The Darius Lux 3Way' - please check news for upcoming shows.
