This is the long-awaited new CD by guitarist Arlen Roth. This work takes his playing into some new and unchartered territory, and is an emotional tour de force. From the very first cut, the title track, it's apparent that this cd means business, and has a powerful agenda. It's truly an album that all guitarists should own. Many great original tunes abound here, along with some classic renditions of great old tunes such as "Town Without Pity", "House Of The Rising Sun", "Shenandoah", and "Ode to Billie Joe." The CD features the Arlen Roth Band with Shannon Ford (drums), Paul Ossola (bass), Bill Holloman (keyboards & sax), Alex Salzman (keyboards), and the late, great and deeply beloved Mindy Jostyn (violin and accordian). This is far and away Arlen's most emotionally powerful work to date, and represents his turning to a fresh new page in his electric and acoustic guitar work.
