| James Adler is Boston raised, though he spent considerable time outside the United States, playing various kinds of music for a living. A tenured singer, a multi-instrumentalist, aces songwriter, tap dancer, actor, and comedian, James began performing for children in 2004. He first started with 45-minute medleys of melodic and easy-listening music for groups of infants, then to instructive classes and shows for toddlers, then to comedic, improvised and interactive shows for kids in kindergarten and preschool. He credits his success and gives thanks to all the moms for wanting to bring music into their children's lives, and for their organizations such as the Charlestown Mother's Association and the South End's Garden Moms, to name a few, here in Boston. Schooled in many styles of music, from big band to Latin, from classical to rock 'n roll, James found a way to fuse his love of music, dance and comedy into a viable commodity in the Boston area, and a noble and worthy one, at that. He looks forward to performing everyday, and adding a bit of sunshine, wherever he may, to people's lives. |
