About This:
Jason Crigler's first release since his miraculous recovery from an AVM, which stands for Arterio-Venous Malformation. It is a collection of abnormal blood vessels in the brain, which then burst, like an aneurysm. The threat to Jason’s life was very real, and initially, the doctors didn’t give Jason much, if any chance to recover. But he did, and subsequently released a collection of his songs that has been in the works for years. It features top-tier musicians including Gustafer Yellowgold's Morgan Taylor and Rachel Loshak, Holly Palmer, Amy Correia, Teddy Thompson, Neal Casal, Michelle Casillas, Kenny White, Marshall Crenshaw, Noe Venable, Erin McKeown, and Cynthia Hopkins.
Two of the songs on the album (The Books on the Shelf and Through Tomorrow) are featured in a documentary by Eric Daniel Metzgar about Jason's struggle through recovery called Life. Support. Music. which is current circulating film festivals around the world.
