About This:
Liner Notes:
"Converiging on Canada's Vancouver Island, songwriter/recording artists Eric Dozier (Harlem Gospel Choir, One Human Family Workshop) and JB Eckl (Santana, WAR, Ozomatli) set out bring their diverse backgrounds together for a music-infused devotional experience. Drawing on the Bahá'í sacred Writings for lyrics and inspiration, and incorporating elements of soul, rock, Gospel, folk and world music, Eric and JB's first collaboration weaves a rich tapestry of sound at once expansive and intimate, introspective and jubilant."

JB's Comments:
We recorded this during the winter and spring of 2006, in a sort of crawl space under our house by a hidden lake. While the BC rain poured, the creativity and spirit flowed, and the collaborators who came through added even more love to the proceedings. Cello, choral and solo vocals, audio engineering skills and good advice all played a huge role in the resulting work, which both Eric and I rank as among our most heartfelt. If 'spiritual' music isn't your thing, you may still dig this one... and if you're feeling a bit under the weather, play the last track really loud a few times and see what happens.
