Singer/ Songwriter/ Guitarist Julie Kinscheck, also known by some as "The Queen of SCAT" shares a unique blend of country, jazz and Contemporary Christian styles on "Grace With Jazz On Top." This being her debut solo artist release, it is peppered with a wide variety favorites from her live shows over time. From the spirited "Get in the Water" complete with banjo, clarinet and a gospel choir, to the beautiful love duet, "Always Kiss Good Night" sung with marvelous Christian singer David Coate, to the heart stirring lullaby for her yet unborn twins, "Preciou," to the anthem "American Memory" written after 911- there is something for almost everyone. A large and marvelous cast of musicians lent their gifts to this production including her brothers Chris and Gary Gibbons on base and drums, the fantastic Jim Peterson on Guitar and many more. Julie's voice is captivating, her lyrics both deep and humorous at times. If Ella Fitzgerald rode a horse; if Joni Mitchell, Sheryl Crow Bonnie Raitt and Carrie Underwood sang with the heart of Amy Grant they'd love Julie! A big thumbs up for "Grace with Jazz on Top"!
