About This:
NYC producer and MC Masai Bey came onto the music scene as a founding member of the hip hop group The Weathermen with Cage. He created a buzz in 2002 with the Definitive Jux release, “Paper Mache” produced by EL-P.
Though many thought he would release his solo joint thru Definitive Jux, Masai Bey stepped out on his own and the result is his self-produced debut album, “Natural Magic Music” which was released on Raptivism Records January 31st, 2006.
Tracks like “Natural Magic” and “Street Life” show Masai’s versatility in his rhyming abilities and production skills. This much anticipated solo effort is destined to please hardcore fans and bring new fans into the mind and world of the lyrically talented and poetic Masai Bey.
