| Okay so I am a swiss born, German gal who grew up in New Zealand, so from the very outset I don’t really fit the mold. I’ve never understood why I have to "fit" into a box, so I don’t - instead preferring to just float in between genres, types, categories, and even nationalities! My songs can probably be considered "Folky" with an obvious European influence, and most of my songs also contain an Opera overlay - I did, after all, start as a lyric soprano! Now living in LA, I’ve been lucky enough to work with the fabulous folk at Qualified Sound Technologies & Pulse Records, who have graciously (and patiently!) allowed me to explore the many aspects of moi - hope to continue on that path... and more importantly, I hope you like the sound! |
