Ron Carr also known as Nat King was born in the heart of the South Bronx’s Housing Projects, and birth right into HIP HOP. He learned at an early age all the struggles of street life and school which was leading him in the wrong direction. Nat was forced to move in different foster homes due to his mother suffering from drug addiction. That is when he first developed his “Natural” ability his friends would say, of writing to express the hardships of inner city life. Those writings were to give young Nat the outlets needed to succeed as a great songwriter, penning verses and hooks for him and local artists. By the age of 15, Nat had ended up with his father and eventually landing in Harrisburg, PA to attend school. After High School, in pursuit of financial stability Nat joined the US Army for 4 years, 2 of which he spent overseas in Mannheim, Germany promoting his music. Then he reunited with long time friend Mike Goodman, later known as Phenom, who believed in his vision and become Co-CEO of their own production company, Hungry Entertainment, LLC. After signing Producer D-Black and artist such as Metafor, Mizury Illz and H.A.P to form IllaSquad, super group of talent artist from all over the US. They began to perform at a number of talent showcases and put out promotional Street Albums for their fans. These releases included “Illeat Mixtape Vol.”, “Star City’s Finest”, and “IllaSquad 4 Life”. Nat King Produced many tracks on these albums/mixtapes such as “Peep Da Breakdown” and “What that There”. Nat has also embraced the digital age, making a huge impact on Ring tones and Digital Downloads with his own online store and business affiliations. Many are now talking about Nat King’s production on underground hits “Late Night” and Metafor’s “Aint Him”, that are featured on Nat’s newest mixtape, “Heart of a King: Vol. 1!!”
