About This:
In the early to mid-nineties "The World" played many of the rock venues in Las Vegas Nevada. Many fans compared them to Journey, The Police, Led Zeppelin, and even Rush. Take a listen for yourself and hear the different influences. One of my favorite tracks is Another Chance and Soldier's Song. In my college days at UNLV i was in this band along with my brother Kevin who plays drums. Danny Matthews a very gifted vocalist and keyboard player and Kevin Kobett on Bass were the other two members. In 1992 we recieved the "Best new Band" award in Las Vegas.
