About This:
Scott Karath, versatile songwriter, brought some great musicians together to play on his first CD, The Dissing of Summer Lawns. Lead vocalist, Stephanie Corby, a great songwriter herself, gives it her all on every tune while J. Cournoyer and Erica Lewis, provided excellent backups. Phil Banner’s drumming, tight as always, is punctuated by Bob Thayer’s bass. Malcolm Granger's seamless keyboards, Mike Connors’ trumpet and Tom Young’s Sax and Flute performances add the perfect touch. Rit Karath plays bass on Stolen Roses, and sings background vocals on Stay. Scott Karath provides the CD’s guitars and viola, and the fretless bass on Better Angels.
