With Chris Rosser’s brilliant title track (Ashram), and 5 originals by TPR including the feel good “That’s What Love Can Do,” this is a disc that might stay in your player the whole year round. It’s warm and intimate, no tricks, masterful guitar work, wrapping around an eclectic selection of originals cover songs – most not normally associated with the holidays. Tom Prasada-Rao produced this disc, played all the instruments, and mixed the album with virtually no effects or reverb – and even though this CD was done on a shoestring, some have called this disc Toms’ best sounding CD ever.
