About This:
One of the fastest rising stars on the scene. Perfect timing, perfect sound, perfect performance. —Lydia Hutchinson, Performing Songwriter
Released in 1994, The Way of the World is Tom Prasada-Rao’s second solo CD, self produced, and a complete departure from the complex arrangements of his first disc Incoming produced by the late Mark Heard. This is the album where TPR became a known entity in the folk world – emphasizing his songwriting, his voice, and his signature guitar work. 5 tracks are recorded live, and all others are produced very lightly, featuring some amazing piano from Larry Culey, tablas from Broto Roy, and featuring the songs “Ashes of Love,” “Maria,” and “Over My Shoulder.”
Brilliant writer, amazing performer, sensational singer‹I'm so jealous I could vomit.
—Christine Lavin
