Hailing from the great northwest is today’s Catholic rock band, Thirst. This new sensation began its life as an entirely different group, with the only original member being the front man, Daniel Oberreuter. The next permanent member to find their way into the group was lead guitar player, Josh Olson. Bass player, Chelsea Gentry and drummer, Tommy Phelan, quickly followed him. The group gained its final member shortly before recording their debut release, “No Greater Love,” with the addition of keyboard and guitar player Matt Lambrecht. Thirst is a band that plays solely to lead more souls to Jesus Christ and his salvation through the teachings of the Catholic faith. Characterized by soaring melodies, pounding rhythms, and blistering guitars, Thirst is a new breed in rock music and a revolution to Catholic ministry.
