Tom Rudd has woven a smart and eclectic collection of songs in this debut solo CD. The music on this new release ranges from the southern rock vibe of "Back to the Garden", to the breezy country pop of "Get a Little Love" along with the modern rock edge of the title track, "Staring at the Sun". In this debut release, Tom draws from his many different musical influences to satisfy the most ambitious listener. This CD was produced and recorded by Joe Merrick (another local favorite) along with Tom Rudd. It features talented Boston area musicians such as Ron Barth, Jeff Cox, Tim Lefort, and Joe Merrick along with many others. Tom Rudd has been a performing professional musician around the Boston area for over 30 years. This Berklee College of Music graduate of 1978 is an arranger, composer, singer, songwriter and accomplished guitarist. Tom�s exuberance for music only matches his talent and love for the art. Tom teaches private instruction guitar lessons at his home in Waltham, MA, and has toured and performed in many bands such as Impulse, Clockwork, and Echo Bridge.
