About This:
Portraying a very rich and authentic sound, Kevin shows us that singing/songwriting stories are at his very core. What comes to life is a
compilation of songs inspired by a feel for the music, a respect for the art
to breathe on its own. What results is a very personal account that allows a
listener to get inside, with just a whisper of suggestion of where to look.
As a multi-instrumentalist crafting this approach, Kevin has noteworthy
experiences as a drummer as well as a vocalist/guitarist. He has been a
semi-finalist at the Minnesota Folk Festival (2002) as well as recorded as a
studio drummer with Mark Hallman, former Carole King and Dan Fogelberg
bandmate. He has also performed at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut, as well as L.A.'s House of Blues in April 2002.
His current release, Glimpse, has received great feedback from fans and
highlights the tasteful mandolin playing of Jimmy Ryan, who has performed
with Mary Chapin-Carpenter and Catie Curtis. This project was mixed and
mastered by Mike Purcell, a Nashville notable who has worked with legendary
artists such as Bonnie Raitt and Lionel Ritchie.
